Project Management  

This is us as part of the project team from start to finish, working as the central point of communication across all areas of the project. We take responsibility for managing the project effectively including management of the budget, project communications and strategic partnerships as well as delivery of project outputs.  We deliver all the project documentation and reporting and can undertake marketing activity, fundraising and sponsorship generation to support the project overall.

 

One of our most important functions in projects is leading on engagement and stakeholder liaison. It’s not just about circulating another email but rather about tailoring our communications so that we build effective and engaging relationships.  We focus on sustainability and creating success in terms of relationships, social impact, environmental impact and money.

Event Design & Delivery

We start projects by facilitating a discussion with relevant people to bash around the event concept and connections.  In this process, we identify the event elements and strategic approach to create a great experience and deliver the project objectives.  From this, we create a project plan, research and design event content (e.g. speakers, performers, activity providers), book suppliers, write the required event documentation, apply for licenses where necessary and generally get all the right things in the right place at the right time to make the event work.  This often also includes ticketing for the events, design of event spaces, technical and décor planning, venue liaison and marketing activity.  Having planned and sourced all of the project elements, we see it through to delivery with onsite management and staffing, co-ordinating arrival, installation, delivery and de-rig of event activity and décor, and front of house engagement with attendees.

The Boring (but not to us!) Bits

We love getting all the supporting details sorted and enabling our clients to focus on the content. This often includes writing event management plans, traffic management plans, risk assessments, operating schedules, site plans and safety management plans that are submitted to Local Safety Advisory Groups or City Centre Management. Our skill is in knowing how to manage risks effectively and our attention to detail that ensures that responsibilities and emergency processes are clear, appropriate and understood by the whole team. This often includes onsite delivery of the supporting elements, making sure that the plans are delivered in reality and adapting to changing circumstances whilst retaining compliance with legislation and best practice.
